Who is Sineni Tours For…

Anyone looking to transcend the status quo. We are out to reinvigorate, twist and deconstruct the past and create the future of travel. It’s time to come home now and get serious about travel again. Technology has made the world very tiny indeed, and that’s why you need to make it large again. And you do this by offering niche, quaint, intrinsically off the beaten track experiences. Join us!

18 to 28 Year Olds

Sleepless nights, copious amounts of caffeine and back-and-forths taught us that we need to have suggested ages. We get it, an Irish Whiskey Tour is probably not going to be terribly hot among 22 year olds (even though it’s gonna be rad). In that regard, then, our tours are marketed for 18-28 year olds.

Prices Do Not Include Flights & Insurance

We’d have it no other way. Not only does this save you time, it saves you big time money! And don’t worry, we are on standby to help you out every step of the way. Get to the airport, we’ll take care of the rest! And anyway:

Once you book a tour…

  • You’re added to a Private Facebook Group with everyone else on your tour. Once inside, get the conversation going, exchange ideas, get advice on flights, insurance (hint: World Nomads is Great!), etc.
  • We answer all questions 24/7, plus we personally respond to questions in the Facebook Groups.
  • We send out a RouteMap containing tip, links, details, travel hacks, and other aids making your life simple.

Twin/Double Rooms, But…

Our prices are based on twin/double occupancy. If you are traveling as a couple, you don’t need to worry about not rooming together or paying supplementary charges. But we aren’t dogmatic: if you’re traveling with friends and would like triples/quads, just let us know and we can set it up. Need a single? Let us know.

Group Size

Although we have one tour (Hopstoberfest) which has a maximum number of 40, our maximum group size is always limited to 30 people. Why 30? We have found that it’s easier to create cohesion, use public transportation, better manage tour activities, and guarantee high quality hotels (it’s very difficult to get great accommodation with large groups). Thus it helps us maintain our SleepStory promise.

Why SleepStory is For You

You spend approxiatley 40% of your time in your room or hotel, so don’t underestimate how important it is. Our SleepStory concept means we look for accommodation that is central (meaning central!), culturally or historically relevant; have character and personality; be a bit edgy or excude seduction; be visually stunning (à la medieval castles and villas). All in all, where you lay your head is as important as where you travel.

What Does the Tour Price Include

The tour price includes full daily breakfasts (meaning, hot breakfasts, not just carbs and the rare hard-boiled egg), twin/double rooming, all on tour transportation (trains, ferries, buses, travel cards if listed), group dinners and lunches when included, tour guides, museum passes when applicable, full-time tour leader, and tons of built in goodies – all listed under each itinerary. Don’t worry about extra budgeting for optionals because we’ve already added the best activities right in. Oh Lord! Forgot! The tour price also includes gratuities.

Gratuities

Yep, we tip all the drivers–all the guides–all the restaurants. That’s quite revolutionary to be honest. Experience has taught us that it’s simply easier, decent and noble. And believe us, they love it too. If you want to tip on top of that (say, in person), don’t feel odd to do so. The only thing we need from you in terms of tipping is to show your tour leader your utmost appreciation at the end of the tour.

Recommendation List Included

A term signifying our collection of travel aids and updated recommendations. Basically, a hip, little darling ‘travel planner.’ And whenever you book a tour, we will send out a confirmation email along with a RouteMap. Be sure to ingest and digest it. Loads of tidbits regarding your hotels, meeting details, how to save money on flights and how to get to the hotel on arrival day. And…a fuller and more descriptive itinerary, including travel times between cities, packing hacks, and more.

24/7 Tour Director

Your tour leaders are authentically and radically cool. Having been reared ourselves in the ‘tour leader school of coolness,’ we have a hypo-allergic eye for tour leader un-coolicity. Frankly, you will be enamored by them. They even speak coolistically, and they work very hard. In all honesty, eventually you’ll have all the incontrovertible evidence you can handle on how they made your trip seriously cool. And we Believe in them.

Go Here For Travel Insurance

Yes, you are required to purchase trip insurance and everyone must provide proof that they have it on the first day of travel. Unfortunately, without it, you will not be able to join the tour. There are several places for you to purchase travel insurance, but we find World Nomads to be pretty (no, extremely) easy to use, and you can see quite clearly everything it covers: trip cancellation, medical costs, lost luggage, adventure activities, and tons else. Disclosure: we don’t take commission by recommending it. Told you we were legit.

Required Documentation

You will need your Passport, and to make sure that it’s Valid for at least 6 months after the end of the tour. If you are an American citizen, but use a passport from another country, it is especially important that you contact the relevant Embassy or Consulate in order to ensure your bases are covered. You may have different entry requirements, as well as different passport and visa requirements.
